Engagement
At AGOVIA, every engagement ring is made to order. The process is bespoke from the beginning — centred on conversation, careful sourcing, and refined craftsmanship.
We work exclusively with hand-selected diamonds and coloured gemstones, chosen through our established network of ethical merchants in Australia, Sri Lanka, India, Nigeria, Thailand and beyond. Each stone is selected for its presence, proportion, and origin.
All rings are forged in 100% recycled and refined alloys of gold, platinum or silver. Every metal is nickel-free, chosen for longevity as much as for beauty. Complimentary engraving is offered as part of the process, allowing each piece to carry a personal mark.
The Process
Consultation
An initial one-on-one appointment, in person or remotely. We discuss design direction, preferred stones and metals, budgets and timelines. The aim is clarity, not pressure.
Stone Sourcing
We source diamonds and gemstones through trusted partners worldwide. Each stone is hand-selected for its character and quality.
Design & Crafting
Once a stone is chosen, the design is refined and hand-forged in our Melbourne studio. No two pieces are the same.
Completion & Delivery
After a final fitting, the ring is polished, engraved (if desired), and presented in a handmade box. Collection or secure express delivery is arranged to suit.
Materials
Alloys
We use only 100% recycled and refined alloys: Yellow, White or Rose Gold, Platinum, and Sterling Silver. Each is chosen for purity, durability, and wearability.
Gemstones
We work with both natural and lab-grown diamonds, as well as coloured gemstones such as sapphire, garnet, spinel, emerald and tourmaline. Inclusions and subtle colour variations are embraced as part of each stone’s individuality.
Timeline
The bespoke process generally takes 6–10 weeks. If you are working to a specific date, we will always be upfront about what is achievable.
